Unfoldable Lace
None of the manuscripts contain a solitary version of this braid, however both of the 15th c manuscripts contain braids that use it as an element of a larger braid. Combining concepts from the "round lace" that took both loops reversed, and the "open lace" where both loops were taken unreversed, this braid takes one hand reversed and the other hand unreversed - making a braid that is joined on one edge and open on the other. It can then be unfolded into a double-wide braid.
